Why of Where Stage 2
Description: WoW Stage 2 geospatial training is a one-day training specifically geared to your project needs and held at your school. Led by the geospatial professionals at CAST, this is intended to share advanced skills and techniques with your students which will enable them to develop an existing GIS project at a higher level.
Prerequisite: Previously attended a Why of Where training
Laser - Scanning for Reality Capture
Description: EAST and CAST have decided to make CAST’s high-end laser scanning (and structured light scanning) equipment and expertise available to two carefully selected EAST schools this year. If your EAST program is working on a reality capture project that needs more than photogrammetry to be successful, this is an opportunity to have access to both a $100,000+ instrument and the expertise needed to run it.
Prerequisite: Previously attended a Reality Capture Training
GIS Kick-Start (New EAST Programs Only)
Description: The professional GIS staff at the Center for Advanced Spatial Technologies (CAST), from the University of Arkansas, have been visiting new EAST programs to help give them a "kick start" almost since the start of EAST. This is your chance to have either Malcolm Williamson or Robyn Lane spend an entire day with your kids at your school, working with them on GIS and GPS skills and project.
Prerequisite: Available only to EAST programs who are new to EAST in 2016-2017
