EAST Initiative/ADE to Host Workshop for New Schools

The EAST Initiative is joining with the Arkansas Department of Education to host a workshop for schools interested in implementing EAST programs in their schools. The workshop will be held at the Batesville Junior High Media Center (#2 Pioneer Drive, Batesville) from 1:00 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Tuesday, December, 2012.

More than 100 high schools in six states will host an annual “EAST Night Out” on Tuesday, October 16, in communities with EAST programs. EAST students will demonstrate a sample of the technology, community work, and service provided through their projects. The event is open to the public.
