Eureka Springs High School Receives MIT Grant

The Eureka Springs High School, represented by its EAST Lab, was one of 18 high schools that recently received the Lemelson-MIT InvenTeams grant to invent an affordable and portable (wristband) health monitoring and warning device for young people who are at risk for high blood pressure.

Eureka High School's EAST Lab will be honored in the 26th Annual Golden Bell Awards program of the California School Boards Association (CSBA).The award was won in the Instruction category under the direction of teachers Jennifer Johnson and Ron Perry.
EAST Website Gets a Makeover

The EAST website has a new, fresh look and added functionality. The new site refocuses EAST’s attention on the most important end-users - the EAST students - by placing the tools they most often need, such as the Project Toolkit and the Forums, up front where they can get to them quickly.
Monticello EAST Students Receive Award from Attorney General

Monticello EAST Lab students received the “Star of Excellence Award”, which is presented each year by Attorney General Mike Beebe during the Arkansas Missing Children’s Day ceremony to honorees who have made a significant difference in protecting children.

Eureka City Schools Expands Award-Winning EAST Program

Eureka City Schools has big plans to offer its award-winning Environmental and Spatial Technology (EAST) program to four elementary schools. Eureka City Schools recently received a $230,000 Enhancing Education Through Technology competitive grant from the State of California to expand its EAST program.
